Welcome to the Member Net of ISHE!
ISHE encourages empirical research in all fields of human behavior using the full range of methods developed in biology and the human behavioral sciences and operating within the conceptual framework provided by evolutionary theory. The Society aims at promoting the exchange of knowledge and opinions concerning human ethology with all the other empirical sciences of human behavior and it administers its funds to support this purpose.

Current members
Simply log into your account using your email address and password to change contact information or to renew your membership. If you don't know your password let it be sent to you (top right this page). Or contact the membership chair Astrid Wichert (ishe.membernet@gmail.com) for help.
You can now search for other ISHE members under Member Area - Membership Directory. Try a name, a city, or a specific scientific interest! If the Member Area doesn't show then your membership needs renewal!
All members do also have a personal web page here that is automatically created.
NOTE: All your contact information (besides your street) is visible to all other active ISHE members. If you don't like that then you can change this for every single field in the Settings (top right on each page: view profile).
New members
As an active ISHE member you are entitled to reduced rates at ISHE meetings.
Regular dues are USD 20 per year or USD 50 for 3 years. Retired and low income scholars may join with the reduced rates of USD 10 per year or USD 25 for 3 years. A free 1-year membership may be requested by students and by individuals with low income who cannot afford the membership dues.
ISHE reserves the right to decide about accepting new members. In the case of non-acceptance, all payments made by the applicant are fully refunded.
NOTE: Only complete applications will be considered for acceptance, that is, students must send a current ID and paying members must upload a CV or a link to a personal website. Non-accepted members cannot vote.
Individuals who cannot afford the membership dues may request a free 1-year membership.
Please note that
- This kind of membership needs approval by the site admin before being activated.
- Non-paying members cannot vote about ISHE issues.
